Staying In The Right Head Space When Battling Food Addiction

Staying In The Right Head Space When Battling Food Addiction

Accept yourself and what you can't change - then focus on the rest

“Accept yourself and what you can’t change, then focus on the rest.”

This post is designed to help you stay upbeat and in the right “head space” so that you can accomplish your goals. I do this because everything that you do starts with mindset. When your mind is strong and in the right place, you will be able to overcome food addiction symptoms such as overeating, food binges, emotional eating, and food cravings. You will also be able to tap into a higher level of focus and energy so that you can be your best self!! Today’s quote is inspired by the times when you think about certain events or are hounded by memories of what happened in the past. Sometimes when these memories wash over us, we feel a sense of powerlessness creep up over us. This feeling, if left in unacknowledged, can make you feel hopeless. Hopelessness, if allowed to continue, wells up and overflows into other areas of your life. When this happens, you aren’t able to perform your best. .
When this happens, a chain reaction occurs and these feelings can bring you down. If you are not careful, you are back to your old habits – precisely what you don’t want.

If this has ever happened to you, I want you to know you are not alone.

The key is to make sure that you are aware of the past and things that you cannot change. However, it is important to extract the lessons from your past experiences – no matter how hard the lesson – then work on the rest.

The things that you CAN change.

And you are going to succeed.

Why?

Because you are stepping into your future armed with the lessons from your past – making you a better and more focused you!

With Much Love,
